Cathouse
I realised that it’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog, so I thought I’d try and start posting small posts here and there to stop the blog dying out.
I’ve decided to go to the Cathouse on Saturday night, a venue/nightclub that’s less than a 3 minute walk from my work. I’ll go to see what it’s like, since it’s recently been renovated and apparently it looks a lot different that what it looked like before (before it wasn’t really that good a venue).
In other news, I’ve been reading Game Coding Complete, 2nd Edition by Mike McShaffry recently. I must say, it’s a fantastic book. Right now I’m on Chapter 14: 3D Scenes. Unlike other game books, it gives you a real insight into the world of game development, including his “Tales From The Pixel Mines”, which are his own personal experiences from working with companies such as Origin and Ion Storm. I recommend it to anyone wanting to start game programming.
Oh, and I need to go out and buy some audio equiptment for my PC so that I can record good quality sound. Ah, the beauty of working in a music shop.
