Bah! The English exam was pathetic. It was so easy that I think I failed. It’s not even worth discussing….
Then I went to see Doom. I was a few hours early, so I popped in to Gamestation and played the Xbox 360. I’m speechless. It’s beautiful. The graphic detail is amazing. I played Call of Duty 2, and this may sound weird, but I love the smoke grenades probably more than any other aspect of the game. The detail in the smoke is astonishing. Absolutely unbelievable. So I’m getting a 360 in January.
Then I went to the cinema to see Doom. The cinema was absolutely deserted. It was just me, one of my mates and some weird random guy. There was no-one else in the cinema apart from the staff. And no, I don’t mean that there was no-one else there to see Doom, I mean that there was no-one else in the cinema.
The movie was amazing. When it went in to first person, I was amazed. It was absolutely immense. And the movie’s scenery stuck unbelievably closely to Doom 3. Everything was almost exactly the same, with a few minor scenery changes for filming purposes. The special effects had me at a loss for words at some bits, but sometimes they were almost deliberately cheesey.
Anyway, I have a physics exam tomorrow and I’m too lazy to post anything else, so I’ll post something else tomorrow. Maybe.
